Hello there, I’m Brandon!
I’m a Character FX artist who specializes in creating dynamic cloth and fur simulations for hero and crowd characters, and authoring simulation rigs that are technically and creatively strong to maintain character appeal and satisfy art direction. I also have a hidden ninja talent for grooming, rigging, and animation. I’m currently at Walt Disney Animation Studios working as a Character Effects Artist on several upcoming projects. What I love about being a Character Effects Artist is creating captivating dynamic simulations that enhance the performance and narrative of characters in a story; making them feel more real and believable for audiences on screen.
Throughout my creative journey I have had the opportunity to work at many top studios and contribute to some amazing shows like Moana 2, Chip n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers, and Cruella. I am a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design where I hold a B.F.A. in Animation with a focus in Character Technical Direction.
When I’m not working on a project, I’m usually daydreaming about my next travel destination, trying out a new a recipe, or honing my craft through educational enrichment.
